The Courtyard came to us ahead of a pivotal moment — a full rebrand and relaunch in Austin’s competitive nightlife scene. They needed more than just a new logo; they needed a visual identity that captured the spirit of the venue and would carry them into their next chapter. We led the transformation from top to bottom: logo design, brand book, color system, typeface, and visual guidelines.
With the foundation set, we began developing the new logo, color palette, and type system. The challenge was to create something modern and versatile while still honoring The Courtyard’s history. Multiple iterations later, we landed on a look that was bold, scalable, and flexible enough to stretch across signage, print, digital, and merchandise.
To ensure the rebrand lived consistently across every touchpoint, we built a comprehensive brand book. This included rules for logo usage, typography, color treatments, and visual styling. More than just documentation, it became a playbook for how The In-Between can grow its brand confidently across campaigns, partnerships, and physical experiences.
To create instant recognition, we designed a badge system that speaks through color, shape, and attitude. More than labels, they act as signals—simple, bold, and unmistakable—guiding the vibe of every touchpoint.


Our posters borrow from music culture’s loudest traditions—bold type, unapologetic color, and attitude you can feel. Each layout is built for instant impact: artist names hit first, the badge system signals the vibe, and photography locks it all in.
The mix of clean structure and raw imagery keeps every poster unmistakably The In-Between, while still leaving room for variety. It’s not just promotion—it’s a visual rhythm that makes the brand impossible to miss.
